Special Rules
โญ
Hero of the Day
3 team points available ยท announced before the round
Selection

Each captain names one player from their team as Hero before the round begins. A player cannot be selected as Hero twice across the tournament.

The Hero Match

The two Heroes compete head-to-head over 9 designated Hero Holes. They do not need to be in the same group. Handicaps apply โ€” strokes are allocated across the Hero holes based on each Hero's course handicap.

Picking Hero Holes

Each captain selects 4 holes for a total of 8. Hole 18 is automatically the 9th Hero hole and cannot be selected by either captain.

Scoring

Each of the 9 Hero holes is worth โ…“ point to the winning Hero's team. A full sweep awards 3 points to the team.

KEY RULE โ€” The Hero must be publicly announced by the captain before the round begins.
๐Ÿƒ
The Wildcard
1 per team per 9 holes ยท 6 total selections per team across the tournament
Selection

Each captain picks one Wildcard player per 9 holes (front and back) across all 3 rounds โ€” 6 selections per team total. Every player must be chosen at least once; one player will be chosen twice.

The Match

The two Wildcards compete against each other on 2 holes each โ€” the captain picks which 2 holes their Wildcard plays. They do not need to be in the same group.

Scoring

Each player's score on their chosen holes is measured against par with handicap applied. The Wildcard with the better net score vs. par wins the point for their team. Each hole is worth ยฝ point โ€” winning a 9-hole Wildcard is worth 1 point and winning all 18 holes is worth 2 points.

Example

Chris plays Hole 3 (Par 5) and scores a 6 (+1). Anthony plays Hole 4 (Par 3) and scores a 3 (E). Anthony wins the point โ€” even par beats bogey.

NOTE โ€” Wildcards are playing on different holes โ€” it's your performance vs. par that matters, not head-to-head on the same hole.
๐Ÿ’ฅ
Two Bangs One Cup
4 random holes ยท 2 death ยท 2 power up ยท revealed after the round
The Draw

At the end of each round, 4 holes are chosen at random โ€” 2 from the front 9, 2 from the back 9. Each hole is secretly designated either a Death Hole or a Power Up Hole before being revealed.

โ˜ ๏ธ Death Holes

Each team's players add up their individual scores on this hole. The team with the higher total score suffers โˆ’2 points.

โšก Power Up Holes

Each team's players add up their individual scores on this hole. The team with the lower total score earns +2 points.

Example

Hole 7 is drawn. Team A's players total 36, Team B total 38. If it's a Death Hole, Team B gets โˆ’2. If it's a Power Up Hole, Team A gets +2.

NOTE โ€” Handicaps apply. Each player's net score on the hole is used, and every player in the group contributes their net score to the team total.
๐ŸŽฏ
Closest to the Pin
1 team point ยท every par 3 ยท every round
The Prize

Every par 3 has a closest-to-the-pin contest. The player who lands closest to the pin earns 1 team point for their team.

Eligibility

Any player whose tee shot finishes on the green is eligible. The ball must be on the green in regulation to qualify.
